Join our dynamic athletic department as the Head Varsity Men's Golf Coach, where you will lead, inspire, and develop our student-athletes to excel both on the course and in life. This pivotal role combines strategic coaching, team leadership, and mentorship to foster a competitive yet supportive environment. This is a Spring Season Sport starting In February. You will be responsible for planning practices, organizing competitions, and promoting sportsmanship while ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Your energy and passion for golf and youth development will drive the success of our program and contribute to a vibrant school community.

Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to student-athletes’ skill levels and goals, emphasizing sports-specific techniques and physical conditioning.
- Lead team practices, coordinate schedules for matches and tournaments, and oversee travel arrangements to ensure smooth participation in competitions.
- Foster a positive team culture by promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and respectful communication among players.
- Monitor student-athletes’ academic progress and personal development, providing mentorship and guidance both on and off the course.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community partners to enhance program visibility and support student-athlete success.
- Enforce safety protocols including first aid procedures, CPR certification requirements, AED operation knowledge, and behavior management strategies during practices and competitions.
- Maintain detailed records of team performance, attendance, equipment inventory, and compliance with athletic regulations.
- Proven experience coaching or leading sports teams at the high school or collegiate level with a focus on golf or similar precision sports.
- Demonstrated ability to teach sports-specific skills such as swing mechanics, course strategy, and mental toughness training.
- Strong background in team leadership with excellent communication skills to motivate athletes and engage with parents and staff effectively.
- Experience working with children or youth in educational or extracurricular settings; familiarity with behavior management techniques is highly valued.
- Knowledge of health club environments or gym settings that promote physical fitness; certifications in CPR, first aid, AED operation are required.
- Prior involvement in sports coaching including soccer coaching or basketball is advantageous; additional experience in martial arts like karate or judo can contribute to athlete discipline training.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude that encourages growth and resilience among students.
