The Metropolitan Golf Club is seeking to engage a passionate & experienced person for the exciting role of Guest & Corporate Golf Coordinator.

The successful candidate will have the following experience:
Although not a mandatory requirement, previous experience in a member and golf environment is highly desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and well-presented person who has the ability to work in a team environment and who is committed to providing high-quality service to corporate clients, members and guests.
The primary days of work will be Monday to Friday, with limited weekend and evening work as required.

Duties and Responsibilities
Brief summary of responsibilities are as follows:-
Corporate Golf
- Actively build and enhance the club’s corporate golf calendar.
- Deliver premium end-to-end experiences for corporate clients.
- Liaise with clients to coordinate a premium event experience for their attendees.
- Utilise the client management system to develop event orders.
- Survey clients post their visit to gain necessary feedback to improve services.
- Regularly enhance the marketing and communication material.
- Develop strategies to improve yield from individual events and the corporate golf sector.
Reciprocal Golf
- Manage all inbound bookings from reciprocal club members.
- Assist with outbound reciprocal bookings from club members.
Interstate and International Guests
- Actively work to build on Interstate and International visitor activity at the club.
- Manage all bookings (direct from clients and tour operators).
- Deliver premium end-to-end experiences for interstate and international visitors.
- Manage relationships with key partners such as Tour Operators and Hotels.
- Facilitate additional services such as caddies using third party providers.
- Meet and greet guests on arrival and interact with them during their visit to enhance their experience.
Finance
- Invoice clients and guests as required.
- Track revenue performance on a monthly basis and report to the General Manager and Head of Finance.
Marketing/Communications
- Understanding of brand positioning and ability to maintain and enhance the club's brand image.
- Engage with social media marketing and other digital marketing channels.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and attributes:
- An ability to relate to people on all levels
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Advanced computer skills
- A proactive approach to completing tasks
- A keen interest in golf
- A team focus in delivering guest services.
- Strong time management skills
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Exposure in a high-level customer service environment
- Event co-ordination in golf, and/or hospitality
- Sales and marketing of events
- Use of client management systems and various software programs.
