Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and comprehensive repairs on golf carts, including electrical systems, engines, brakes, suspension, and chassis components
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and techniques
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly tools to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Conduct brake repairs, suspension work, vehicle assembly, and other mechanical tasks to restore carts to optimal condition
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual tasks required during repairs or parts replacement
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control procedures
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status and maintenance needs to provide excellent customer service
- Prior dealership experience or service technician background preferred; automotive repair experience highly valued
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including electrical wiring, engines, brakes, suspension, and welding techniques
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostics tools and troubleshooting methods
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, welding gear, and assembly components
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a repair setting
- Excellent customer service skills to assist clients with technical questions or concerns
- Demonstrated mechanic experience with a focus on vehicle maintenance and repair processes
- Knowledge of dealership operations or sales processes is a plus but not required
