Part Time Golf Teaching Professional

Under the general supervision of the Head Teaching Professional and within established policies, procedures and guidelines, assists with golf instructional services and programming at the Legends Golf Academy. The Assistant Teaching Professional(s) are responsible for delivering academy programs and will be scheduled on an as needed basis. Ensures sound practices are understood, implemented and adhered to while delivering a high level of customer service for an optimal guest experience. Operates efficiently to meet or exceed the acceptable standards of the NPC management and Commission.

Niagara Parks offers an hourly rate of $27.47.

This position is required to be on site in Niagara Falls, ON.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional Golfers Association (PGA) or Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) member with superior knowledge of golf swing mechanics as it relates to teaching and coaching.

A proven track record with delivering a wide range of instructional programs, experience with utilizing launch monitors and video analysis equipment.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching with practical experience in creating and delivering a variety of instructional services and programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration
  • Maintains excellent records of all client records.
  • Process client credit and cash transactions for academy services.
Operational
  • Executes instructional services to teach beginners, group sessions, junior camps, women’s clinics, private lessons, junior clinics, short game clinics and playing lessons.
  • Creates awareness to grow the game through instruction and programming services to various target markets including beginners, junior, family programs and in house events.
Performs Other Related Duties
  • As assigned.
