Position: Cart Barn Attendant/Guest Services Supervisor

Department: Golf Shop

Supervises: Cart Barn Attendants

Reports To: Head Golf Professional, Pro Shop Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt, Part-time/Full-time, Seasonal

Summary of Position

Responsible for the maintenance and appearance of the golf cart fleet
Supports all areas of the golf operation, with specific emphasis on outside operations
Outside operations includes maintaining Cart Barn area and driving range, rental club services, guest services, supervises cart barn staff and abides by policies and procedures of Inn of the Mountain Gods Championship Golf Course

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervises outside Service PM Staff
  This position is an evening closing manager shift
• Attend to golf cart fleet, cart barn and driving range
• Ensure carts are clean and charged after each use
• Stage golf carts; includes bringing carts to/from cart barns
• Return carts to cart barn at the end of the day
• Maintain clean work area, including upper and lower cart barns
• Monitors rotation of carts
• Check driving range for organization and pick range balls
• Communicate in a clear, pleasant and professional manner miscellaneous information that will assist the Member/Guest in playing the course
• Assist Members and Guest as they depart from the facility
• Clean golf clubs for rentals after each use

Requirements Skills/Abilities:

• Provide optimal customer service to guests by being self-motivated and customer service oriented
• Ability to work independently, with a team and supervise individuals
• Be familiar with the company's handbook and work by them
• Communicate with supervisor regarding all problems or issues with equipment or employees
• Have and maintain a valid drivers' license
• Basic knowledge and understanding of typical golf course procedures
• Present a positive and professional image
• Reliable and predictable attendance

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to walk and stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time
• Must be able to bend and twist at the waist on a regular basis
• Must be able to reach at, above and below shoulder height
• Must be able to grasp, push, pull, carry and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and greater weights on an occasional basis
• Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
• Must possess sufficient motor skills to operate carts and other equipment as required
