The Golf Shift Supervisor/Assistant Professional is responsible for promoting the game of golf while providing excellent customer service to owner and guests of Massanutten Resort. Also provides assistance to Head Golf Professional and Golf Operations Manager in the day to day operations of the golf department at Massanutten Resort. Customer service experience, retail experience, and computer knowledge is required. Management skills and college degree are preferred. Active involvement in PGA of America as an apprentice or as a Class A Member in good standing is preferred.

Core Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting in a friendly manner with all guests, serving as an information source for the resort and golf operation, and presenting the golf operation in a professional manner
- Supervise staff and assist in the training of golf employees while monitoring the performance of golf employees
- Assist management in daily operation of each golf course, inventory control/merchandising, accounting in daily receipts and corresponding reports, work with golf superintendent to enhance golf course playability, weekly activities of owner, guests, and members, tournament management, club repair operation, enforcing golf course policies, handling customer comments/complaints, serve as supervisor on duty at the golf shop
- Communicate effectively with Golf Operations Manager, Head Golf Professional, golf staff, and other department managers
- Other duties as assigned by management
