We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to join our prestigious golf course. As the Golf Course Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the overall maintenance and upkeep of the golf course, ensuring it is in top condition for our members and guests. Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the maintenance and upkeep of the golf course, including fairways, greens, and bunkers
• Develop and implement comprehensive turf management plans to ensure the course is maintained to the highest standards
• Manage a team of groundskeepers and ensure they are trained and equipped to carry out their duties effectively
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks, such as irrigation system repairs and tree removal
• Monitor and control the budget for the maintenance department, ensuring all expenses are within the allocated budget
• Conduct regular inspections of the golf course to identify and address any issues, such as disease outbreaks or drainage problems
• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members

Requirements

• Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or similar role
• Extensive knowledge of turfgrass management, including fertilizers, pesticides, and irrigation systems
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team and delegate tasks
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle unforeseen challenges
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, members, and guests

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
