Boomerang farm doesn't just focus on golf; we have a high demand in weddings whilst also having regular community driven events. Under new ownership, proposed plans are to bring in a Mini golf area, Pickleball courts and build a new maintenance facility.
About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a Golf Course Superintendent to lead the maintenance and presentation of our course and wedding venue. This full-time role is perfect for someone who has experience in a similar position or has worked as a 2IC and is ready to take the next step in their career.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day care of the course, overseeing a small team and working closely with the Golf Operations Manager to ensure the course remains in top condition year-round.
Key Responsibilities
  • Management of all course and property maintenance including course irrigation.
  • Implement renovation and upkeep plans across the Course.
  • Management and control of pest and diseases, with plans in place for scheduled maintenance.
  • Ordering of all chemical, sand and fuels required/stock inventory management.
  • Course preparation and schedule organisation for regular play.
  • Regular Toolbox meetings and safety updates/training of staff required.
  • Developing and managing budgets for the golf course maintenance department.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to environmental protection, water usage, pesticide application, and workplace safety.
About You
  • Have a Certificate III or Diploma in Sports Turf Management
  • Minimum 2-years experience in a leadership role on a Golf Course
  • A flexible approach to working hours
  • Driver's Licence and transport
  • Chemical spraying certificate
  • Strong work ethic & excellent attention to detail
  • Experience and sound knowledge of irrigation, repairs, programming, and troubleshooting
  • 2IC/Foreman experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Golf Course/Landscape Maintenance Leadership experience
