About the Role: Van Buren Golf Center LLC in Riverside, CA is looking for a passionate and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to lead the maintenance and agronomic operations of our facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a turf professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional playing conditions and a beautiful course experience for every golfer.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily golf course maintenance operations, including turf management, irrigation, and landscaping
• Develop and implement agronomic programs for tees, fairways, greens, and rough areas
• Manage, schedule, and train grounds crew and maintenance staff
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water management and conservation
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides in compliance with local and state regulations
• Manage departmental budget, equipment maintenance, and supply procurement
• Coordinate course setup and preparation for tournaments, events, and daily play

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
• Strong knowledge of turfgrass agronomy, soil science, and integrated pest management (IPM)
• California Qualified Applicator License (QAL) or ability to obtain one preferred
• Experience managing and leading a grounds maintenance team
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, scheduling software, and course management tools
• GCSAA membership or Golf Course Management certification is a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
