We are seeking self-motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious Superintendent to work for the newly renovated Lakelands Country Club on a fulltime basis. The applicant applying for this role should have experience in all aspects of turf management and maintenance, with strong leadership abilities.
Responsibilities include but not limited to: developing and delivering course maintenance programs, budgets, quality control, WHS and environmental compliance, staff training and mentoring, and staff performance management.

- Develop and managing budgets for the entire golf course department
- Implement renovations and upkeep plans across the Course
- Manage and control of pest and diseases, with plans for scheduled maintenance
- Regular machinery maintenance and organising repairs
- Ordering of all chemical, sand and fuels required/stock inventory management
- Course preparation and ongoing fixturing input for scheduled play
- Weekly Team meetings and safety updates/training of staff required
- Implement sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact and promote conservation of natural resources
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to environmental protection, water usage, pesticide application, and workplace safety
- Interview and hire team members, including assistant superintendents, equipment operators, and groundskeepers
- A genuine interest in learning, teaching and career/personal growth
- Well-presented
- Adhere to WHS&E policies and procedures and implements them as required
- Someone with previous experience in the Golf Industry
- Certificate III or Diploma in Sports Turf Management
- A flexible approach to working hours
- Strong work ethic & excellent attention to detail
- Driver's Licence and transport
- Chemical spraying certificate
- Experience and working knowledge of all areas of Golf Course Maintenance
- National Police Clearance
- Golf Course/Landscape Maintenance Leadership experience
- 2IC/Foreman experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
