We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team. White Plains Country Club is under new ownership that is making a significant investment into improvement of the course and facilities. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of grounds keeping and landscape maintenance. Your leadership and expertise will ensure that our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing.
Duties-
Coordinate all grounds keeping and playing course management. We are a small workforce staff so you will be performing majority of course management task including operating equipment.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Proven experience in grounds keeping, landscape maintenance, and lawn care
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Extensive knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and landscaping techniques
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to plant health and maintenance
- Experience in managing budgets and resources for landscaping projects

As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of grounds keeping and landscape maintenance. Your leadership and expertise will ensure that our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing.
Duties-
Coordinate all grounds keeping and playing course management. We are a small workforce staff so you will be performing majority of course management task including operating equipment.
- Aide in preparation of annual capital and operating budgets, controlling expenses in order to stay within approved expenditure amounts.
- Aide in formulating chemical and fertilization programs and synchronizing these programs as much as possible with other Company operated golf course maintenance departments in order to realize expense economics.
- Keep daily records on all golf course maintenance expenditures, as well as accurate daily weather records and job activities.
- Supervise all tournament-related golf course preparations.
- Coordinate all golf course equipment maintenance operations with equipment maintenance personnel to ensure proper preventive maintenance is being performed and that Company equipment is being cared for properly by operators.
- Order and purchase all golf course related materials, i.e. pesticides, fertilizers, tools and operational supplies according to operating plan and budget.
- Training of maintenance staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all employees are complying with OSHA safety regulations
