Golf Course Superintendent - Full time role - $68,000 - Beautiful, scenic Northland Location We are looking for a Golf Course Superintendent who is looking to take that next step and work with a luxury resort situated in Northland. This role will see you managing all aspects of golf course maintenance and operations. The Opportunity As the Golf Course Superintendent you will ensure playing conditions are optimal to create an exceptional customer experience. You will be leading a team of groundskeepers, ensuring proper care and maintenance of all golf course area, equipment and facilities. This role will see you liaising with the Golf Course Manager and other department heads to plan and execute improvement projects There is the potential option of accommodation to be provided for the successful candidate Key tasks include: - Supervise and lead a team of groundskeepers, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to required standards. - Manage inventory of golf course supplies, equipment and materials, coordinating repairs as necessary. - Participate in hiring, training and performance evaluation of the groundskeeping team. - Develop and manage the maintenance budget. - Develop and implement effective maintenance and agronomic practices About you Ideally you will come from a golf course management background with knowledge of practices for the industry. You will have strong communication skills and a positive, helpful demeanour.
