Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance, including mowing, irrigation, fertilization, and pest management.
- Develop and implement agronomic plans to ensure optimal turfgrass health and playing conditions.
- Manage the course maintenance budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of groundskeepers and maintenance staff.
- Maintain and operate all golf course maintenance equipment and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and implement sustainable maintenance practices.
- Degree or diploma in Horticulture, Agronomy, Turfgrass Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent.
- In‑depth knowledge of turfgrass science, irrigation systems, and pest/disease control.
- Valid driver's license and pesticide applicator's license (or ability to obtain).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
