An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Golf Course Superintendent to join our team on the Gold Coast. This role is responsible for the leadership, management and ongoing presentation of our golf course, ensuring the highest standards of turf quality and course conditioning.
Our 18-hole golf course features bent grass greens and warm-season turf, and the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an exciting upcoming capital works and course improvement program, providing the opportunity to contribute to the long-term development of the facility.

Our 18-hole golf course features bent grass greens and warm-season turf, and the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an exciting upcoming capital works and course improvement program, providing the opportunity to contribute to the long-term development of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all golf course maintenance operations including greens, tees, fairways and bunkers
Develop and implement turf management programs including fertilisation, aeration, pest and disease control
Lead, mentor and schedule the course maintenance team
Manage irrigation systems and water usage to maintain optimal turf conditions
Oversee maintenance and operation of course machinery and equipment
Plan and deliver seasonal maintenance programs
Assist with the planning and implementation of course improvements and capital works projects
Maintain strong communication with management and golf operations to ensure excellent course presentation
Minimum 5 years' experience in golf course or turf management, ideally in a superintendent or senior role
Must have a minimum of 3+ years of superintendent or senior-level experience
Qualification in Sports Turf Management (Certificate III, IV or Diploma)
Strong knowledge of warm-season turf grasses suited to Queensland conditions
Bent grass management experience preferred
Experience with irrigation systems, fertiliser programs and pest management
Proven team leadership and staff management skills
Strong organisational and communication skills
Current driver's licence
Australian work authorisation is required for this position
Salary package $100,000 – $120,000 depending on experience
