Duties
- Lead and supervise all golf course maintenance activities, including turf management, landscaping, tree care, irrigation, and general groundskeeping
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal turf health, safety standards, and aesthetic appeal
- Oversee irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water use and proper functioning to maintain lush greens and fairways
- Manage landscaping projects, including renovations, construction of new features, and ongoing improvements to enhance course aesthetics
- Supervise a team of grounds staff, providing training in lawn care, horticulture practices, safety protocols, and equipment operation
- Conduct regular inspections of the course to identify areas needing attention and coordinate repairs or enhancements
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable practices related to landscape maintenance and water conservation
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or golf course management with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of turfgrass science, lawn care techniques, horticulture principles, and tree care practices
- Hands-on experience with irrigation systems, gardening techniques, construction projects related to course development or renovation
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
- Familiarity with equipment maintenance and safe operation of landscaping machinery
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines
- Passion for maintaining high standards of quality and environmental stewardship in outdoor spaces
