About the Club
Pine Rivers Golf Club is about 45 minutes north of Brisbane, in the Moreton Bay council area. Popular for its natural environment, relaxed atmosphere and proximity to Brisbane, the club provides a venue for golfers of all levels, with professional staff and a friendly family atmosphere. Pine Rivers Golf Club is a picturesque Par 70, 18-hole course. This rolling landscape adds appeal to the greens and fairways, to provide a more interesting and challenging round of golf.
The past couple of years has seen improved development of our course and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to lead the next stage of our improvements.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, a hands-on leadership approach, and a genuine commitment to excellence in turf management. This role suits someone who thrives in a collaborative, professional environment and is focused on delivering exceptional playing conditions and team culture.
We do have an open mind for qualified Greenskeepers looking to take the next step into a superintendents role.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining the course to the highest standard of presentation and playability.
Being an active and collaborative member of the club’s management team.
Leading course improvement projects and on-course developments.
Maintaining a safe environment for both staff and players.
Developing and executing a detailed Course Maintenance Plan and budget.
Training and mentoring the course maintenance team to enhance skills and productivity.
Managing internal and external resources effectively to deliver operational goals.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
Strong leadership and team development skills, aligned with the Club’s values of integrity, friendliness, and excellence.
At least 3 years of experience as a Qualified Greenskeeper
A passion for delivering high-quality playing surfaces.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in preparing and managing budgets.
Organisational strength and a keen eye for detail.
Confidence in WH&S procedures, staff scheduling, and daily course operations.
In-depth knowledge of golf course machinery and preventative maintenance programs.
Experience in irrigation systems and water management.
Relevant qualifications in Sports Turf Management, Horticulture, or an equivalent field.
Accreditation in Chemical Application and Safe Handling.
A current and valid Driver’s License.
