Nedlands Golf Club | Australia
Expires: March 13, 2024
About Us
Set amongst 18 hectares of native trees you will find the Nedlands Golf Club, idyllically nestled between the Perth CBD, the Beach and the Swan River. A welcoming, relaxed and inclusive club, Nedlands is a private members 9 hole championship layout with 800 members, and around 35,000 rounds of golf played each year.
The Committee has recently taken the decision to bring the Course Maintenance Services back in house and we are now looking to build out our in-house team. At this stage we are looking to recruit:
The Superintendent will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for the professional maintenance of the course and surrounds.
Your Mandate
Whilst the club seeks to provide a casual and informal atmosphere for members and guests, the calibre of the golfing experience and the presentation of the Course itself is paramount. Our formal values statement guides us
“We want to be a golf club that is revered by members, with a course that is
high quality and well maintained. Golf is our common bond, and we want to
ensure we are providing a great golfing experience.”
Members have high expectations on the high-quality presentation of the course, and the team put in place to manage the course are tasked to meet or exceed these expectations. It is the culmination of the ‘1 percenter’s and ‘going the extra mile’ that will ultimately determine your long-term success in the role.
Essential Duties
Applications should include your CV and a short cover letter addressed to the General Manager.
The full job description is available from the General Manager, Ben Unbehaun at [email protected]
Applications close: Monday, 22nd January at 5.00pm.
Time is of the essence, and we reserve the right to make an appointment prior to the closing date for applications.
