Overview:
Royal Poinciana Golf Club is a 36 hole, upscale, invitation-only private club located in Naples, Florida. The golf operation is high volume and fast-paced with several events each week and no tee times. “RP” is looking for a professional to be an ambassador to our membership and follow several touch points to provide first class service for the 2024 season.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
This is a seasonal (Jan-May), full-time, non-exempt, hourly position. Hours are flexible based upon Member needs, which includes working days/nights/weekends/holidays shifts. Pay is $17 per hour.

Royal Poinciana Golf Club is a 36 hole, upscale, invitation-only private club located in Naples, Florida. The golf operation is high volume and fast-paced with several events each week and no tee times. “RP” is looking for a professional to be an ambassador to our membership and follow several touch points to provide first class service for the 2024 season.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Engage members and guests with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Operate our “Whoosh” system categorically assigning groups a place in line to start
- Monitor our GPS (Pace) system for appropriate pace of play
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep accurate records ensuring proper billing
- Learn the club’s history, golf operation policies and procedures, as well as member names
- Well-groomed and punctual
- Effective written and verbal communicator
- Must be flexible and willing to work some weekends and holidays
- Other duties as assigned
- Previous golf experience required
- Must have a hospitality service mentality; is sociable and friendly and has a genuine desire to serve our internal customer and members
- Ability to learn computer software designed to organize the order as well as pace of play
- Well organized with the ability to thrive under pressure
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Good verbal communication and listening skills
- Self-starter who is energetic and flexible
- Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with busy or stressful situations
- Forms strong working relationships within team
- Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly to assist others
- Follows direction
- Withstands hot and/or cold temperatures and be outside for extended periods of time
- Able to lift 40-50 lbs
