About the Opportunity
Are you passionate about golf, sports, and creating unforgettable guest experiences? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Golf & Sports Sales Manager, to join our vibrant sales & events team, at the iconic RACV Royal Pines Resort. We’re looking for a dynamic, confident, and results-driven Golf & Sports Sales Manager to lead the charge and grow the golf and sports business to the next level.
This is a 1-year fixed term position (maternity leave replacement) to commence in mid-late November 2025.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Sales, you will be responsible for generating golf, sport and leisure conferences & events business. You’ll manage client relationships from first contact through to event completion, ensuring every experience is seamless and memorable. Your key responsibilities for the role include:
Sell accommodation and golf packages, corporate & charity golf days, sporting camps, and health/wellness retreats
Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to acquire and manage new and existing business, from first point contract to post event follow up
Conduct detailed property inspections with collaborate with stakeholders
Lead accounts and manage all golf & sports meeting requirements, ensuring a seamless handover to the events team and repeat business
Maximise business growth opportunities, achieve revenue targets and KPIs
Maintain up to date and accurate records and reporting
Represent RACV at industry and corporate networking events
What you’ll need to be successful
Proven success in a sales and account management position within the golf, sport or hotel/resort industries
A genuine interest in golf and sport, with the ability to talk the talk with clients
Tertiary qualifications in hospitality and tourism, desirable
A natural ability to negotiate, achieve sales targets and client relationship management
Confidence in cold calling, lead generation, and client engagement
Professional verbal and written communication skills, be organised with attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office applications + PMS Opera experience, desirable
Work well in a team environment
Excellent personal presentation
