QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Golf retail experience - minimum 1 year (REQUIRED)
• Customer service - minimum 1 year (REQUIRED)
• Interest and/or basic knowledge of the game of golf (REQUIRED)

EDUCATION

• High school diploma (Required)

RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for handling all outside services; this includes, but is not limited to:

• Greet and provide service to members and their guests to ensure high-level of satisfaction
• Perform point of sale transactions
• Stock merchandise in golf shop
• Handle all service requests by members, including riding cart rentals, tee time reservations and lesson requests; opening and closing of golf shop; maintaining cleanliness and order of golf shop and clubhouse areas
• This individual will work closely with Golf Professionals in implementing/staging of all programs, tournaments, outings and leagues
• Communicate pertinent member requests to Outside Operations staff
• Maintain a professional appearance, effective communication skills, and timely arrival for all shifts
• Other duties as assigned by Golf Professional staff
• Applicant must be at least 18 years of age

WORKING CONDITIONS

• A combination of mostly indoor and occasional outdoor working conditions
• Ability to perform occasional manual labor, such as moving boxes and/or golf bags.
• Ability to arrange items in alphabetical, numerical, and subject order
