About the role
Mt Warren Park Golf Club is seeking an experienced Golf Services Team Leader to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Mount Warren Park, QLD. As the Golf Services Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the golf shop and providing an exceptional experience for members and guests. This role will report directly to the Golf Operations Manager. Applicants must be available to work early mornings through to nights, and weekends, with shifts scheduled across the full week, including public holidays.

About the role
Mt Warren Park Golf Club is seeking an experienced Golf Services Team Leader to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Mount Warren Park, QLD. As the Golf Services Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the golf shop and providing an exceptional experience for members and guests. This role will report directly to the Golf Operations Manager. Applicants must be available to work early mornings through to nights, and weekends, with shifts scheduled across the full week, including public holidays.
What you'll be doing
Oversee and coordinate the golf services team, including training and performance management
Lead the daily opening and closing procedures of the Golf Shop, ensuring accuracy in POS reconciliation and reporting
Provide hands-on leadership, ensuring efficient and friendly customer service in the golf shop and throughout the course
Coordinate daily tee sheet management, including social play, member bookings, visitor groups and online booking platforms
Ensure all MiClub tee times, competition setups, scoring and results are administered accurately and in line with Golf Australia handicapping requirements and Club Policies
Manage and maintain the golf cart fleet and other equipment
Assist with the planning and execution of golf events and competitions
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
Drive retail sales initiatives, promotional campaigns and upselling opportunities to grow Golf Shop revenue
Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar golf services or team leader customer-facing role
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent knowledge of golf-specific software and technology including MiClub, and MiSore
Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to deliver a high-quality experience
Sound knowledge of golf course operations, including tee time management and tournament logistics
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficiency in Microsoft systems and general POS systems is essential
A passion for the sport of golf and a commitment to promoting the game
Advanced/competitive level golf knowledge is required
Australian work rights are required for this position
