Mt Warren Park Golf, operated by Beenleigh RSL & Golf Club, is a popular Golf Course offering a fantastic golfing experience to players of all levels. Our facilities include a full-service golf shop, 14 bay driving range, and a well-maintained 18-hole course, in addition to the Clubhouse. Located just off the M1 between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, the Club boasts a strong membership base, and a very busy social golf calendar.
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Golf Services Teaching Professional to join our team to provide high-quality golf instruction while also assisting with the daily operations of our Golf Shop to ensure an exceptional experience for our members and guests.
As the Golf Professional, you will be responsible for Coaching, implementing coaching programs and assisting in all aspects of the golf shop, ensuring excellent customer service, overseeing inventory, and coordinating with other departments to provide an exceptional experience for our Golfing members and guests. You will also play a key role in promoting the game of golf and increasing sales and participation. Working closely with the Golf Shop Manager and Golf Operations Manager, to ensure the smooth operation of golf services.

Essential:
- Must be a fully qualified PGA Professional
- Knowledge of Golf Management Systems (MiClub preferred)
- Blue Card qualification (or able to obtain)
- Responsible service of alcohol certificate (or able to obtain)
- Current first aid and CPR certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Assist with the daily operations of the Golf Shop, including retail sales, inventory management, and merchandising.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by welcoming members and guests and addressing their golf-related enquiries including: golf bookings, coaching, practice facilities and retail sales.
- Process transactions, manage tee time bookings, and provide equipment recommendations.
- Support tournament and event operations, including preparation, scoring, and execution.
- Provide professional golf instruction for players of all skill levels, including individual and group lessons.
- Assist in the development and execution of coaching programs, clinics, and other golf initiatives.
- Offer on-course playing lessons and course management strategies to enhance player performance.
- Build strong relationships with members and guests to promote lesson programs and golf shop sales.
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all players, ensuring high standards of professionalism and service.
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of the driving range and practice facilities throughout the day.
- Assist with golf cart fleet management throughout the day.
- Work collaboratively with all departments including the Clubhouse Team & Course Maintanence Team.
- Undertake necessary golf equipment repairs in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with club policies, safety regulations, and customer service standards.
