Position Overview
Lone Star Golf Cars is seeking a reliable and motivated Service & Delivery Driver (Technical) to support our growing service department. This role is responsible for completing mobile service calls, delivering and picking up golf carts, and performing basic diagnostics and repairs in the field.
This is a hands-on position requiring strong time management, attention to detail, and professionalism when interacting with customers.

Position Overview
Lone Star Golf Cars is seeking a reliable and motivated Service & Delivery Driver (Technical) to support our growing service department. This role is responsible for completing mobile service calls, delivering and picking up golf carts, and performing basic diagnostics and repairs in the field.
This is a hands-on position requiring strong time management, attention to detail, and professionalism when interacting with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mobile service repairs, basic diagnostics, and troubleshooting
- Deliver and pick up golf carts safely and efficiently
- Communicate service findings, repair needs, and parts requirements
- Complete work orders, delivery paperwork, and customer documentation in the field
- Follow daily route schedules and GPS tracking requirements
- Ensure safe loading, transport, and unloading of carts
- Maintain assigned truck, trailer, and company equipment
- Assist with cleaning carts, tire shine, and minor in-shop service when needed
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of truck and trailer
- Review and execute daily service routes and assignments
- Communicate status updates throughout the day, including delays
- Contact customers when en route and provide arrival updates
- Obtain customer signatures and confirm completion of work
- Return all completed paperwork at the end of each shift
- Report any vehicle, trailer, or equipment issues immediately
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to tow and operate a trailer (experience preferred)
- Basic mechanical or technical aptitude (golf cart or small engine experience a plus)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must be able to lift, load, and transport carts safely
