Desert Fox Golf is seeking a highly motivated golf sales professional to assist with inside sales and vigorously hunt for new opportunities during the off season across our volume sales channels. This role involves managing inbound sales opportunities while providing customer support across all channels during the peak golf season. Throughout the year and especially during the off season, this role will focus on growing our customer portfolio through proactive outreach, lead management, new account development, and gathering client feedback. The daily responsibilities will include:
- Respond and manage inbound RFQ (request for quote) inquiries for wholesale and volume orders via email and phone.
- Negotiate and close sales, prepare custom logos for digital proofs and placement on products, submit production orders via web based internal software tool then follow up and manage orders through to customer delivery.
- Manage our existing customer base and perform follow up via email/phone to drive repeat orders.
- Prospect opportunities across all sales channels with ability to cold call and develop long-lasting relationships with buyers and merchandisers.
- Day-to-day customer support across all channels including direct to consumer.
- Support (as needed) in-person events to promote the company and its products.
- At least 2 years experience in sales and customer service
- Proven success in closing inbound sales and generating leads through prospecting new business with a 'hunter' mentality
- Team player with a passion and understanding for the game of golf
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Good time management and the ability to multitask
- Willingness to cooperate and adapt to change as part of an evolving company
- Highly competent computer skills with proficiency in Apple tools
- Experience with CRM software and familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and PhotoShop
- HS Diploma/GED, BS in Business or relevant field preferred
- Compensation is commensurate with experience
- Hourly wage to start with potential for full-time salary with bonus program
- Flexible paid time off with manager's approval
- Once proficient, option to work from home part of the week based on a pre-determined schedule with manager's approval
