GolfBox is seeking a driven and customer-focused Store Manager to lead our retail team and play a key role in delivering excellence across store operations, sales, and customer service.
About the Role:
As Store Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure smooth daily operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong focus on sales and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. A general knowledge of apparel and prior retail experience will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a supportive and collaborative culture.
· Provide hands-on training and coaching to staff, ensuring excellent customer service and product knowledge.
· Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards.
· Manage stock control, inventory, and merchandising to optimise sales and profitability.
· Build strong relationships with customers, creating positive, personalised shopping experiences.
· Achieve and exceed store KPIs through proactive sales leadership.
· Analyse sales and budgeting data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
· Plan and execute promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
· Use systems like NetSuite, Excel, and email to manage operations and communication.
· Oversee specialist services such as custom fittings and consultations to enhance customer loyalty.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Diploma-level qualification in Retail Leadership or a related field, or commensurate work experience in retail management.
· Proven experience in a similar store management role within a fast-paced retail environment.
· Strong leadership and team development skills.
· Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
· A commercial mindset with a focus on results and growth.
· Proficiency with inventory systems and retail software (NetSuite experience a plus).
· A passion for golf is highly desirable!
