Prestigious Country Club in Fairfield County Connecticut seeks a full time Golf Shop Manager.

Responsibilities include

• Manage all golf shop operations.
• Assist head golf professional to manage and supervise golf staff to fulfill their duties
• Manage and communicate opening and closing procedures
• Assist Head Golf Professional with placing orders for golf shop
• Responsible for taking inventory of all areas of the golf shop- clothing and equipment for mens and ladies.
• Manage golf shop emails and phone messages
• Assist in managing tee time requests and modifications.
• Perform periodic updates on shop's website page and email updates of golf shop marketing.
• Merchandising and weekly rotation of merchandise displays and mannequins.

Requirements

Must be able to at least one weekend day and select Monday holidays (Labor Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day).

Light computer skills including word/excel spreadsheets

Excellent customer service

A retail / merchandising background preferred.

Golf industry experience is a plus but not required.

Experience with Point-of-Sale system is not required but advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
