Full job description
Tanunda Pines Golf Club are seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Casual Golf Pro / Casual Retail Golf Shop Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our golfers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers, answering phone calls and booking.
• Process customer purchases efficiently and accurately including point-of-sale operations and cash handling.
• Assist the team with restocking shelves, organising merchandise, and cleaning.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanour, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager/Golf Operation Manager.

Criteria:

• Friendly and easy-going.
• Excellent customer service skills and a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
• Basic knowledge of retail operations is preferred.
• Flexibility is required with working hours and weekend work will apply.
• Golf knowledge or PGA qualification is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift light to moderate weight (e.g., golf clubs).
