Maple Hill Golf is one of the nation's leading golf retailers, providing golfers with exceptional service, expert advice, and industry-leading club fitting and repair services. We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Club Repair Technician to join our team.
The Golf Club Repair Technician is responsible for performing a variety of golf club repair and assembly services while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service. This position plays a key role in helping golfers improve their equipment performance through professional repairs, custom builds, and club modifications.
Responsibilities
- Regrip golf clubs accurately and efficientlyPerform shaft replacements and club re-shafting
- Adjust loft and lie angles on irons and wedgesCut, extend, and modify club lengths
- Build custom golf clubs to manufacturer and fitting specificationsInstall shafts, grips, adapters, and club components
- Maintain repair equipment, tools, and workstations
- Manage repair orders and ensure timely completion
- Work closely with club fitters and sales staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Assist customers with repair recommendations and equipment questions
- Maintain inventory of repair supplies and components
Qualifications
- Previous golf club repair experience preferred
- Knowledge of golf equipment, shafts, grips, and club assembly techniques
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projectsExcellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Passion for golf and helping customers improve their gamePreferred Skills
- Experience with loft and lie machines
- Experience with swing weight measurements and club balancing
- Familiarity with major golf equipment manufacturers
- Club fitting experience is a plus
Expected Hours/Availability: No less than 30 hours per week
