We are seeking to fill the role of Driving Range Assistant, starting as soon as possible. The role is responsible for operating machinery (e.g., UTV/cart with picker attachments) to gather golf balls from the range outfield. Then wash, and restock balls into dispensers while keeping the range area clean and safe. This is a hands-on, outdoor, and often physically active role. * *Ball Collection:* Safely drive specialized picking vehicles to collect balls, including manual retrieval from hard-to-reach areas, rough terrain, or safety netting, especially during wet weather. * *Maintenance:* Wash, sort, and clean range balls using automated or manual washing equipment. * *Restocking:* Keep ball dispensing machines filled to ensure uninterrupted service. * *Area Maintenance:* Keep the driving range, nets, mats, car park, and surrounding areas clean and free from litter. * *Safety & Inspection:* Perform daily checks on picking equipment and report any malfunctions; ensure a safe environment for both the employee and customers. The ideal applicant will possess the following attributes and qualifications: · A strong work ethic and ability to demonstrate they can work as part of a team and as an individual · Practical maintenance skills. · Excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to communicate with members as well as colleagues. · Self-motivated, but with strong time management skills. Shifts include weekday and weekends, so a flexible approach to the working week is necessary in order to meet the requirements of the business.
