Experteer Overview In this role you will oversee the golf course and related facilities, ensuring efficient operation seven days a week and leading a team. You will manage staff, budgets, and vendor relations to deliver high-quality services to patrons. Your work directly supports the morale and welfare of authorized patrons while achieving facility profitability. The position requires deep golf knowledge and independent, professional leadership. This is a hands-on management role with a strong emphasis on guest experience and operational excellence. Compensation / Benefits • supervise and schedule staff; interview hires and discipline as needed • manage golf course operations including pro shop, driving range, and maintenance facilities • control resale of golf merchandise and manage inventory; process purchases and payments • develop annual budgets for responsible areas; ensure self-sufficiency through fees, rentals, and sales • maintain records for greens fees, cart rentals, lessons, and tournaments • organize and promote golf tournaments/leagues; support club events • enforce NAVSTA rules and grant access to authorized personnel and guests • inform Recreation Director of needs and potential problems Tasks • certification by the Professional Golf Association (PGA) • extensive knowledge of golf, rules of play, golf equipment and apparel • strong interpersonal and communication skills with the golfing public • ability to plan and operate with substantial independence • experience in budgeting, retail, and facilities management • willingness to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors Key requirements •
