Job Title: Membership Golf Professional
Pay Rate: $55,000-$60,000/ annual salary

Job Summary:

As a member of the Golf Team, this position will be responsible to coordinates all membership golf functions and assists golf operations in hotel/guest activities.

What you will be doing:

• Schedules and administers all member golf activities.
• Ensures proper billing/charging of membership golf activities.
• Coordinate and execute all BLGA events.
• Prepares and distributes flyers for all member golf events.
• Coordinates the membership junior golf program.
• Coordinate and oversee hotel complimentary golf clinics.
• Assists in maintaining and enforcing BROADMOOR Golf Club by-laws and guidelines.
• Assists the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional and Membership Director in formulation of club policies and procedures.
• Assist Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional and Membership Director with website changes/initiatives.
• Attend Member monthly mixers and all golf related member events.
• Oversee handicapping and GHIN administration.
• Maintains knowledge on the Rules of Golf.
• Works closely with tournament staff when needed with non-member events.
• Leads staff person and remains current in club-fitting knowledge.
• During off-season months, work in Shops and Player Services as needed.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PGA Membership or minimum of 3 years of experience working at a golf facility.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
