Role Description
This is a part-time-to-potential full-time on-site Assistant PGA Professional role, primarily based at our facilities in Gams and Buchs. You will be an integral part of a forward-thinking coaching team, responsible for:
- Instruction: Delivering exceptional golf coaching to players of all skill levels, with a focus on implementing the Operation 36 framework.
- Technology Integration: Utilizing launch monitor data (Foresight) to enhance the learning experience and provide clear pathways for player improvement.
- Sales & Service: Supporting the sale and maintenance of golf equipment, serving our community with professional expertise, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Events: Organizing and supervising golf activities, tournaments, and social events at both the Gams driving range and the Buchs indoor centre.
Qualifications
- PGA Qualification: Fully qualified PGA Professional.
- Coaching Proficiency: Strong ability to coach various skill levels and a passion for junior and beginner development (familiarity with Operation 36 is a significant plus).
- Tech-Savvy: Experience or interest in using launch monitor technology (Foresight/GCQuad) for instruction and CoachNow to stay in touch with customers.
- Customer Excellence: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a "service-first" mindset.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and manage administrative duties in a busy, year-round environment.
- Language: Proficiency in English and German is highly preferred, given our international and local clientele.
- Team Player: A proactive attitude and the desire to grow within a modern coaching business.
