PRO SHOP MANAGER

This is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic and service driven professional to join our thriving and supportive team to manage our Golf Pro Shop.
Primary Purpose of role
The role is both responsible for delivering the day-to-day operations of the Country Club Pro-Shop including all front of house duties, whilst providing leadership for our customer service team who operate as casuals servicing not only our members and visitors but act as support staff to the Pro Shop and Golf Operations Manager.
With a background in Golf Pro Shop operations and sound knowledge of the game of golf, the role will drive efficiencies in the performance of the Pro Shop and service delivery.

The Pro Shop operates 7 days a week from 6.00am – 6.00pm, the successful applicant must be available to work across a range of weekday and weekends.
Remuneration & Incentives
This is a full-time role with flexibility within the roster. Remuneration will be in accordance with the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020 and based on experience + Performance incentives for employees for exceeding sales targets and revenue also apply.
In addition, you will receive complimentary Golf Membership valued over $550.00. Staff discounts on food and tenpin bowling.

Key Accountabilities
Within the areas of responsibilities, the role is required to:
Provide leadership and supervision of staff including rostering
Develop, implement and maintain operational procedures and quality assurance
Undertake a range of administrative tasks and duties, data collection and management like POS systems and competition software.
Facilitate stock controls, ordering and maintenance of the club’s golf assets.
Provide exceptional customer service and experience of golf patrons.
Respond ad provide follow up on all golf patrons’ enquiries, needs and concerns in a timely manner to improve and maintain quality service.
Identify, respond to escalate and report incidents or any potential hazards which may cause injury or illness to staff or patrons.
Ensure safe operations in line with legislative, compliance and WHS requirements.
Work in collaboration with and assist the team and upline managers to achieve business unit operational, financial and strategic goals.
About you
You are an energetic and motivated leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, that builds rapport quickly within in a team environment and with customers.
You have a distinct eye for detail and are highly organised.
Professional personal presentation
