POSITION SUMMARY
Fawn Lake Country Club is seeking a professional, dependable, and service-oriented
Golf Pro Shop Attendant to support daily Golf Department operations and deliver an exceptional member and guest experience. This role serves as a key point of contact for members and guests and assists with tee times, golfer check-in, merchandise sales, golf cart operations, and tournament support in a fast-paced private club environment.

Golf Pro Shop Attendant to support daily Golf Department operations and deliver an exceptional member and guest experience. This role serves as a key point of contact for members and guests and assists with tee times, golfer check-in, merchandise sales, golf cart operations, and tournament support in a fast-paced private club environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Member & Guest Service
- Greet members and guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Assist with tee times, golfer registration, course information, and general inquiries.
- Answer phone calls and provide accurate golf-related information.
- Address basic member concerns and escalate issues to Golf Department leadership when needed.
- Schedule, modify, and manage tee times using the Club system.
- Monitor daily tee sheet activity and communicate course updates (conditions, delays, policies).
- Assist with tournaments, outings, leagues, and special events.
- Support enforcement of Club policies including dress code, pace of play, and golf etiquette.
- Process green fees, cart fees, and merchandise sales accurately.
- Operate the POS system and handle cash, credit, and member charges.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and follow all cash-handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Golf Pro Shop.
- Assist with merchandise sales, stocking, displays, and inventory support.
- Help receive, tag, and organize retail products.
- Stage, clean, and organize golf carts as needed.
- Report cart or equipment issues promptly.
- Assist with cart barn and surrounding golf operational areas.
- Support outside service staff and general golf operations as assigned.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact with members and guests.
- Basic computer and POS system skills (or ability to learn quickly).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with transactions.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in golf, hospitality, retail, or customer service.
- Basic knowledge of golf terminology, rules, and etiquette.
- Prior POS or cash-handling experience.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and movement of golf bags, carts, and merchandise.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling based on operational needs, including:
- Early mornings, days, evenings
- Weekends and holidays
- Tournaments and special events
