Position Summary:
The Player Service Supervisor oversees our player services team at Saint John's Resort. This role is essential in ensuring that all guests enjoy a seamless and enjoyable golfing experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a passion for golf and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the player service staff, including scheduling, training and performance management.
- Ensure a high level of customer service is deliver consistently to all guests.
- Oversee the management of golf carts, including maintenance, presentation and usage.
- Manage the bag drop area, ensuring efficient handling and storage of gold equipment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests upon their arrival and departure from the golf course.
- Coordinate with the golf shop and starter to facilitate a smooth flow of play.
- Implement and enforce golf course policies and procedures to maintain an orderly and safe environment.
- Resolve any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist in the organization and execution of golf tournaments and special events.
- Collaborate with other departments within the Resort to enhance guest experiences.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the golf course and resort amenities to provide accurate information to guests.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a golf or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Passionate about golf and knowledgeable about the sport.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
