POSITION SUMMARY:
Handle parts requirements of customers through counter service and sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Maintain customer goodwill.
- Verify receiving shipments by checking order against packing list.
- Assist in keeping parts area clean and stuff section area stocked and orderly.
- Follow-up on shortages and expedite through reporting to parts manager.
- Supply service technicians with parts, ordered through parts requisition forms.
- Since many of the responsibilities of a counter clerk overlaps the parts manager, clerk should always work as close as possible with manager to establish harmony.

Qualifications - External
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
- Must be able to read on high school level.
- Ability to understand and comply with posted work rules and established accounting procedures.
- Ability to interact effectively with co-workers and vendors.
- Ability to lift heavy parts as needed to complete job assignments.
- Ability to work with various part numbers.
- Ability to use computer, forklift and parts scanners.
- No supervisory responsibilities
- Ability to lift parts, tires, and tools up to 50 lbs as needed to complete job assignments.
- Ability to stoop climb reach and bend as needed to complete task.
- Front Parts Counter, back parts counter, parts warehouse and outside
- Must be a team player who is willing to cooperate with others.
- Must be able to accept corrective criticism from supervisor.
- Must be willing to take on a variety of assignments as assigned by management on an as-needed basis within the department and within other areas of King Ranch if necessary.
