Royal Fox Country Club Golf Operations
Position: Golf Course Caddie
Reports to: First Assistant Golf Professional
Job Summary: Provide bag, cart and range services to members and guests.
Principal Summary:
A golf caddie is a person who carries a golfer's equipment and provides advice during a game. They are hired on a per-round basis and are often familiar with the course layout.
Golf Caddies Duties:
· Forecaddie in front of a group or carry golf clubs and other equipment.
· Spot and find golf balls.
· Provide advice on club selection and golf course management.
· Maintain golf course and assist with course set up.
· Assist with golf tournaments and other events.
· Administer rules of the game and ensure safety of players.
Gold Caddie Requirements:
· Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette.
· Ability to carry and maneuver golf bags.
· Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Flexibility and the ability to work long hours and weekends.
Golf Caddies Skills:
· Excellent customer service
· Ability to work independently.
· Ability to work well in a team.
· Ability to carry heavy loads.
· Knowledge of golf course rules and etiquette
Golf Caddie Personal Traits:
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Friendly and helpful attitude.
· Flexible and reliable.
· Great Communicator.
· Able to carry heavy equipment.
· Knowledge of golf and golf courses.
Compensation:
· Based on qualifications and experience, plus tips.
· Staff Uniform
· Flexible Hours
· Free golf and use of the driving range (with some restrictions)
