As a Ranger at Edgewood Country Club, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring pace of play throughout the golf course and assisting groups in maintaining proper course flow
- Providing courteous and professional service to members and guests while enforcing golf course policies and etiquette standards
- Communicating with golfers regarding pace of play expectations and offering assistance when necessary
- Monitoring golf course conditions and reporting any maintenance, safety, or operational concerns to management
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures as directed by the Golf Operations team
- Ensuring golfers follow club rules, dress code requirements, and course regulations
- Maintaining a visible presence throughout the golf course to enhance the member and guest experience
- Responding to member and guest questions, concerns, and requests in a professional manner
- Operating golf carts safely and responsibly throughout the property
- Completing other related duties as assigned
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Demonstrated knowledge of the rules of golf, golf course etiquette, and pace of play expectations (required)
- Have excellent human relation skills, strong organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively complete job tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, humidity, and prolonged sun exposure
- Capable of standing, walking, driving a golf cart, climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, and/or reaching for extended periods of time
- Able to navigate uneven terrain and golf course conditions safely; can push, pull, or lift up to 25 pounds
