About The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for two (2) Apprentice - Golf Course positions!
The Apprentice - Golf Course role is to undertake activities that will assist in the maintenance of Council’s Auburn and Woodville golf courses and ensure that these open spaces remain in excellent condition, safe and suitable for use by the community.

The Successful Applicant Will Require
- Demonstrated ability to deal in a positive and courteous manner with the public and other workers.
- Good verbal and written communication skills – ability to write clearly and neatly when completing necessary paperwork
- Ability to work as part of a team with good interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge and practical application of WHS principles and the Work Health and Safety legislation
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrated basic level of understanding of horticulture or greenkeeping.
- General Induction Construction Card (White Card)
About This Role
- 2x Term contract, full-time positions
- 35 hour week, working from 5:00am to 1:30pm
- Access to Council's 9 day fortnight Rostered Day Off (RDO) arrangement
- Located at Council's Auburn and Woodville Golf Course locations, with occasional travel required across Council worksites, and may be required to work across any of Council’s work locations
- This position is placed in Cumberland's Trainee Salary Structure with a salary range of $618.33 to $1,166.11 per week, plus 11% superannuation
