The outside services team provides a positive first impression of the golf course by maintaining a functional course, cleaning carts, assisting our members with arrival and departure from golf play and any other responsibility within the detailed department and company standards. Essential Functions: Acts as the first impression of the club and the course to members and guests coming to golf Greets members pulling up to the bag drop Grabs golf bags and related items from member/guests vehicle and carries them to a cart Fastens golf bags inside golf carts Cleans member/guest clubs after practice tee and golf course Answers and directs members with nongolf related questions Cleans golf carts after each use and plugs them back in so they are always member ready Stocks driving range with baskets of balls Operates ball picker to pick up balls on the driving range Washes golf balls returned from driving range Retrieves members’ golf clubs from storage Launders towel for member use Performs opening and closing duties as described on checklist Responds to common inquiries or complaints from members, guests, team members, or supervisors Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs, reach, bend, twist, push, pull, squat, grasp, and use handeye coordination Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours Hospitality Experience Must be able to follow clear directions and practice timeliness Basic knowledge and understanding of golf and its rules About Greystone Golf and Country Club Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Greystone Golf & Country Club (GGCC) is a private, members-only club located within the Greystone Community in Hoover, Alabama. GGCC is the home to two clubhouses and two 18-hole championship golf courses plus amenities such as tennis, fitness, aquatics, and dining & social events.
