Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate on a daily basis with Assistant Golf Professionals and Outside Services Manager about day’s events and operations.
- Assure golf cars are cleaned and washed per club procedures.
- Restock and rotate cars based on what cars went out that day.
- Charge all cars on a daily basis.
- Maintain clean towels, including washing, drying, and folding.
- Help Practice Range Attendant with the set-up of hitting stations (buckets).
- Laser yardages and change distances daily.
- Follow hitting area rotation schedule.
- Restock buckets and pick range when needed.
- Maintain chipping area and putting green.
- Fill clean buckets of balls in evening in preparation for next day’s opening shift.
- Check oil in picker weekly.
- Set up members and guest’s bags for play.
- Put away member and guest bags in proper storage location and in timely fashion.
- Maintain rental set inventory by keeping clubs and bags clean.
- Update guest storage board daily.
- Greet members and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Load bags and move carts to cart staging area.
- Give directions to Golf Shop and after check-in direct players to club amenities.
- Keep staging area well stocked with carts through out the day.
- Clean all players’ golf clubs thoroughly.
- Assure that all bags are tagged properly.
- Provide information on club policies and procedures, upcoming events, and rules of the day to members.
- Load bags into vehicle and thank members and guests for playing.
- Put bottled water in vehicles for number of people leaving.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of comparable work preferred
