*JOB SUMMARY* As a seasonal Outside Service Staff member at Tamarisk Country Club, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our valued members and guests. Working in the picturesque outdoor setting of our prestigious golf course, you will assist with various tasks related to the golf operations, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for all patrons. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about delivering outstanding service in a high-end golf club environment. *THIS JOB IS A FIT IF…* · You are a people person with a servant heart. · Have a strong drive to support the efforts of a winning team. · Work well in a fast-paced environment. · Have a passion to learn new things. · You take pride in your appearance , your work, and the experience you provide to members and guests. · You understand that every interaction represents the Tamarisk brand. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES* · Greet and assist members and guests in a friendly, professional manner. · Assist with golf bag handling, cart staging, delivery, cleaning, and maintenance. · Set up and maintain the driving range, starter area, cart barn, and related guest service areas. · Maintain and clean golf clubs, carts, range equipment, and other Club property. · Restock golf supplies, range balls, towels, sand/seed, and other necessary materials. · Assist with rental equipment, including preparation, delivery, inventory, and reporting damaged equipment. · Support daily golf operations and communicate effectively with the Starter, Golf Shop, and Golf Operations team. · Perform Ranger duties as scheduled, including monitoring pace of play, assisting with course flow, maintaining course appearance, and reporting concerns to appropriate golf staff. · Assist with tournaments, member events, and special events as directed. · Complete opening and closing duties and ensure areas and equipment are properly secured and prepared for the next shift. · Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. · Work collaboratively with other departments to support a seamless member and guest experience. · Comply with all Club policies, procedures, safety practices, and service standards. · Perform other duties as assigned. · Other duties as assigned. *CORE EXPECTATIONS* · Deliver warm, personalized, and professional service consistent with Tamarisk Golf Service Standards. · Represent the Tamarisk brand with professionalism, pride, and a team-first mindset. · Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance in accordance with the Club's dress code. · Demonstrate discretion, courtesy, and respect when interacting with members, guests, and coworkers. ·Protect and properly maintain Club equipment, facilities, and resources. · Address member and guest concerns promptly and professionally. *EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS* · Outgoing, friendly, and service-oriented personality. · Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. · Positive, energetic attitude and strong customer service mindset. · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. · Ability to work outdoors and stand/walk for extended periods in varying weather conditions. · Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. · Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and overtime as needed. · Basic knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and equipment preferred but not required. · Previous private club, golf, hospitality, or luxury service experience preferred. · Must maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times. · Must possess a valid California driver's license and maintain a clean DMV record. *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* _*Frequency Key:*_ _Never, Rarely, Occasionally, Frequently, Constantly_ *PHYSICAL ACTIVITY FREQUENCY* Sitting - Occasionally Walking - Constantly Standing - Constantly Climbing - Rarely Crouching/Bending/Stooping - Occasionally Reaching - Frequently Grasping - Constantly Pushing 50 lbs. - Frequently Vision (near) - Constantly Vision (far) - Constantly Hearing/Listening - Constantly Talking - Constantly Smelling - Constantly Lifting/Carrying 50 lbs. - Frequently Driving - Constantly *OTHER DUTIES* Due to the nature of the Club industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the club. *SAFETY REQUIREMENTS* OSHA and Cal OSHA laws may require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties that have the potential risk to your health and safety. · Back support belt, protective gloves, and eye protection may be required on some occasions. · Follow all safety policies and procedures. Employees will be trained in the proper use and care of assigned PPE. The Club provides the required PPE.
