Full job description Overview: The Golf Course Outside Operations/Player Assistant position is a guest service role that will be the face of the Sunday River Golf Course.
The Players' Assistant welcomes guests to the Sunday River Golf Course. This position is responsible for ensuring that equipment (including power carts and rental clubs) and work areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. This includes all equipment is in safe working condition to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the power cart fleet. Attendants will also maintain a tracking system including, usage, maintenance, and proper rotation of the carts to ensure that all golfers receive a vehicle that operates properly. Responsibilities:

- Moving and lifting golf clubs
- Safely operating power carts
- Keep track of starting times and ensure appropriate pace of play so that our guests have the best golfing experience possible
- Maintain cleanliness of golf carts
- Ensure that golf carts are charged
- Recover range balls, clean and restock
- Check in with guests on the course
- Remove trash from course and cart cleaning area
- Keep the welcoming area clean and organized
- Working as a congruent part of the Golf Operations Team
- Previous golf and/or guest service experience is a required
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs
- Enjoy working outdoors in variable weather conditions
- Must be at least 18 years old
