Job Summary
The Golf Operations Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the golf course, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction for all guests. This role involves managing staff, coordinating events, and maintaining the quality of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the golf operations team.
- Ensure excellent customer service by training and motivating staff to provide a welcoming and professional experience for all guests.
- Oversee daily operations, including tee time scheduling and equipment management.
- Assist in the planning and execution of golf tournaments, events, and member activities.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the golf shop.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a prompt and effective manner.
- Manage inventory and ensure the pro shop is well-stocked with necessary merchandise and supplies.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Upkeep of all equipment including but not limited to carts and clubs.
- Assistance with marketing and promotions of the course where required.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in golf course management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for the game of golf.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications related to golf course operations.
Qualifications
- Current PGA membership desirable but not essential.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (Essential).
- Working with Children Check (Essential).
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
