Cheltenham Golf Club is a private/public 9 hole golf course located in Victoria's famous ‘Sandbelt’ golf region, just 30 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.

Reporting to the General Manager, our club is currently seeking a suitable candidate for the full time position (Tuesday - Saturday) of Golf Operations Manager or (club) Operations Manager.

Known for being one of the friendliest golf clubs, our club continues to enjoy great success both on and off course. With a strong membership and green fee player base, it's a great time to join our team.

We are seeking someone with a golfing background who is passionate, driven, service focussed with great attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to for the Golf Operations Manager position:

• Golf - ensure the smooth operation of all golfing events for members and green fee players, including yearly syllabus production, competition fields and results, handicapping, etc
• Membership - be the main point of contact for new member enquiries, process new applications, identify market trends, actively participate in new member events, assist with yearly membership renewals process, etc
• Human Resources - build and mentor a service focused team to ensure all member and guest needs are exceeded at all times, rostering of staff to ensure business needs are met at all times, production and implementation of policies and procedures, etc
• Facilities - ensure a safe environment is provided for all staff, members and guests, general venue presentation, etc
• Financial - control pricing and labour costs to achieve set budgets, accuracy of daily cash/eft reconciliations, etc
• Retail - provide a great retail experience for members and visitors via excellent customer service standards, product offerings and services, etc

Depending on your previous experience and knowledge, a (club) Operations Manager role may be created to include the above duties, as well as various Clubhouse/Food & Beverage and Administration responsibilities. These can be finalised with the successful applicant.

• Experience using various software - Office suite, Bepoz, MiMembership & MiGolf
