The role oversees all daily clubhouse and facility operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff supervision, and coordination with golf, maintenance, and administrative teams. It involves developing and enforcing SOPs, ensuring operational readiness, managing compliance, security, and risk, and maintaining strong reporting and continuous‑improvement practices.
A major component of the position is leading the Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) program—conducting risk assessments, maintaining documentation, delivering training, investigating incidents, and ensuring all staff, contractors, and visitors meet safety requirements.
The position requires experience in operations management—preferably within golf, hospitality, or facilities—along with strong knowledge of OHS legislation, staff leadership, and SOP development.
Key competencies include communication, problem‑solving, organisation, decision‑making, and documentation skills. The work environment involves flexible hours across office, clubhouse, and on‑course settings, with exposure to typical golf‑facility operational and safety risks.
