We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Golf Operations Manager to join our Links Kennedy Bay team to lead the day-to-day operations of the Golf Course, Pro Shop, Driving Range and brand new Padel Courts.

Links Kennedy Bay has recently launched its exciting new 18-hole layout, a wonderful opportunity for you to make your mark in the WA golf industry. We are also excited to introduce our very own Padel Courts in late November, adding another dynamic experience to our venue. Our stunning course alongside our award-winning Birdie Restaurant have been a sought-after destination for golf lovers and the local community alike.

 At Clublinks, we manage leisure and community facilities for local governments, private enterprises, and universities. We currently manage 20 venues with a team of 950 across VIC, NSW, QLD, and WA, and we pride ourselves on being industry leaders.

Birdie Restaurant offers a quality-driven, contemporary bistro menu focused on locally sourced produce. Our venue, licensed for 250 people and open 7 days a week, has been a popular destination for the local community since opening in 2021.   

The Role

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will hit the ground running, providing exceptional operational leadership across the sports business

Key responsibilities include:

  • People Management

  • Operations Management (across Golf & Padel)

  • Golf Course Management

  • Stock Management & Control

  • Stakeholder Management

  • Workplace Health and Safety

  • Facility Management
About you

Required skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience within the sport/recreation industry and management experience

  • Excellent communication, time management and multi-tasking skills

  • Proven ability to work and achieve exceptional results in a fast-paced active environment 

  • Solid business and financial acumen

  • Contractor and stakeholder management experience

  • Energetic and vibrant approach

  • Current National Police check, Working with Children check and Senior First Aid qualifications

  • Coaching qualification in your field advantageous but not essential
