Golf Operations Manager
Tea Tree Gully Golf Club, a premier golfing destination in Adelaide’s north-eastern suburbs, is seeking an experienced and motivated Golf Operations Manager to join our leadership team.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this senior management position is responsible for leading the golf operations team, ensuring a first-class golfing experience for members and guests. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of golf operations, including:

  • Member engagement, retention, and satisfaction

  • Competition and timesheet management

  • Corporate and social golf

  • Retail operations in the Pro Shop

  • Coaching and club fitting services

  • Financial management and compliance

  • Leadership and Staff Performance
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be expected to contribute strategically to the Club’s success, drive operational excellence, and maximise revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver initiatives to grow membership and enhance member satisfaction

  • Oversee daily golf operations, including bookings, competitions, and tournaments

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing golf operations team

  • Manage the Pro Shop retail operation, including budgets, purchasing, and stock control

  • Ensure compliance with WHS, industry regulations, and club policies

  • Ensure the team delivers innovative coaching, tuition, and club-fitting services to members and guests

  • Actively contribute to the Club’s strategic direction as a member of the leadership team
Qualifications & Experience

  • PGA Professional qualification (preferred)

  • Tertiary education in Business/Management (desirable)

  • Hold an RSA/ RP (preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the golf industry

  • Strong leadership and staff management experience

  • Advanced knowledge of golf operations and customer service excellence

  • High-level IT skills, including Microsoft Office
