We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Golf Operations Manager to hands on operate the Golf business and enhance the golfing experience.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

The Golf Operations Manager is a dynamic role and will provide support to a range of day-to-day golf operations tasks, including but not limited to:

• 
  Golf Management: Deliver a seamless and memorable experience to the General Public and its Members.
• 
  Selling golf equipment: This includes golf balls, clubs, shoes, gloves, tees, and other accessories.
• 
  Promoting the business: assisting with marketing and promoting the golf course and its services.
• 
  Handling sales transactions: Processing payments for purchases made in the pro shop.
• 
  Merchandising: Arranging and displaying items to maximise sales appeal.

• 
  Competition & Golf Management: Plan, execute, and manage golf competitions and events, ensuring seamless operations and a positive experience for all participants. This includes hire equipment including Golf Carts.
• 
  Timesheet & Booking Management: Maintain efficient timesheet and booking systems, optimising course utilisation and public/member access.
• 
  Staff Management & Leadership: Collaborate effectively with the General Manager and other departments to achieve strategic goals and foster a positive work environment.

Key Skills and Expertise:

• 
  Golf industry and management experience.
• 
  Customer Service.
• 
  Demonstrated ability to manage golf events and bookings.
• 
  Retail experience Pro shop sales and service. POS (point of sale) knowledge and experience, Stock control. Maintaining the Pro Shop.
• 
  Opening/Closing procedures.
