The Club at Glenmore is a 25-year-old first class, full service, family friendly, private country club located in Keswick, VA. The club is approximately five miles east of Charlottesville on rt. 250 and is currently seeking Golf Operations Assistants for golf shop and outside golf operations. This position is seasonal from March – November.

We are looking for candidates to join our team to work within a growing golf operation. The right candidates would work a mix of morning and evening shifts and have availability to work some weekends. This role has lots of potential for growth and we welcome all levels of applicants.

Duties for golf shop staff include but not limited to:

• Answering the telephone & tee time reservations.
• Assisting the golf professional staff with merchandising & sales
• Stock keeping.
• Assisting the golf professional staff during tournaments and outings.
• Shop arrangement and cleanliness.

Duties for outside staff but not limited to:

• Cleaning, restocking, and picking the range (must be able to lift 40-pound range ball baskets).
• Setting up and taking down water and trash stations.
• Staging and cleaning carts.
• Golf cart maintenance.
• General cleaning and care for the area around the golf shop.
• Assisting the golf professional staff during tournaments and golf outings.

Benefits include shift meals and playing and practice privileges during off times. Compensation is $13 - $16 an hour depending on qualifications and experience.
